i remember when i first started thinking about make up i had absolutely no idea what i wanted or how to use it.i just knew that it would make me more attractive, which is lie because every girl is beautiful as she is... but it's not the topic i'm talking about right now ^-^ . so if you are an absolute beginner in make up and want to know what you really need from basics than you got into right place
warning: think about skincare first
for someone make up is a way to hide their blemishes or acne and for others it's just a way to have fun.if you do have skin problems know that make up isn't a magic stick. i really advice you getting moisturizer, scrab, toner and washing gel first.try to keep that skin as clean as possible. if you don't like washing your face every day try using cleaning wipes, even make up remover ones.they will clean the oil and dirt from your pores.
foundation/bb cream/cc cream
i have acne and blemishes so i need something to cover up them with. i have an uneven skintone too.( i've seen my face covered with freaking red and white dots,so i know what i'm talking about).i don't recommend using foundation as it has more thick consistency and drys out skin sometimes.i have a combination skintype(dry forehead and oily nose and cheekbones) so i prefer using bb or cc creams...they are practically the same. i like them because they are moisturizing and not that pigmented. i advice picking the ones with mate finish not a shiny one. it's really hard to find bb cream with mate finish though, most of the are kinda shiny.
primer& make up remover
your skin isn't smooth ,it has little pores in it that help your skin breathe and when you're applying make up, practically you applying foundation over it covering your pores. sometimes an excess oil, dirt or make up clogs pores and causes acne. PRIMER is a silicon base creamlike thing that covers up your pores and prevents foundation form clogging into them.so you need primer if you don't want make up to cause acne or irritate skin.
if you can't afford primer than i recommend investing in a good make up remover.i'm currenly using nivea eye make up remover for all face though... and i really like it. it cleans skin without irritating it.

eyepencil
i don't advice getting gel eyeliner if you're just beginner,it's a hard time winging that cat eye sweetie. i prefer eyepencil. make sure that you get smooth and soft black eyepencil not too harsh one and think of one with sharpener, you don't wanna have flat eyepencil dilema.
eyeshadow
if you wanna glam it up a little bit but not too much i advice getting basic color eyeshadow. i have one with brown and light pink from Bell .make sure it has little brush in it,it's handy.
brows
if you lack in brow department than you need some brow filler shadows and applicator brush.photo was found through pinterst
mascara
i don't like mascara personally ,i find it hard to remove...especially waterproof ones.if you are just a starter buy one with nice brush and it may not be waterproof too.i like curved one over there
L L L Lipstick
i adore lipsticks, they are the easiest to use but make sure you wash them off properly or you might get towel all pinky... i like nude, slightly pinky colors. bright color lipstick makes lips appear bigger whereas dark one visually makes 'em look small.so all you burgundy lip lovers like me ,i know he struggle. i don't use lipgloss thought.
